The idea
Åland Sofa
The Åland sofa began as a study of Scandinavian coastline horizons — long, low, and unhurried. Its frame is cut from FSC-certified oak, joined without visible fixings, and dressed in a heavy bouclé woven in Belgium. Feather-wrapped foam cores mean it softens with use rather than sagging.

What it's made of
FSC oak frame. Belgian bouclé. Feather-wrapped cushions. Every material is chosen to age visibly and well — patina is part of the design, not a defect of it.
